The organizers of the Live Festival in Krakow, as usual, made sure that the biggest stars came to Poland. It is thanks to them that amazing Calvin Harris, Scottish DJ, music producer, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter performed – the absolute world leader. Euphoria is a state that enveloped Polish fans of the artist during the concert. The star of the second day of the festival appeared on stage at 23:15 and made the next hour and a half pass in a flash. Following the artist’s fate and tour, we know that the day before he had given a concert on Ibiza, Spain. The DJ’s busy schedule will certainly not surprise anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him live. He started the stage entrance with the song “Giant” of course. We heard hits such as “My Way”, “Blame”, “Promisses”, “How Deep Is Your Love” and “One Kiss”. Actually, DJ’s name is Adam Richard Wiles. He was born in 1984 in Dumfries. He grew up in a traditional Scottish family in which his father was a biochemist and his mother was a housewife. He has two siblings – a sister and brother. He has been an abstainer since he was 24 years old. As a teenager, he became interested in electronic music and recorded the first demos in 1999 in his bedroom. At the age of 17, he started working in supermarkets and a fish factory with clearly defined goals – to move to London, buy a console and learn from the local music scene. His first musical pieces appeared in 2002, and he gained fame after five years with his debut album I Created Disco with hits The Girls and Acceptable in the 80s. After the release of the single “We Found Love” recorded with Rihanna, proposals for cooperation with other stars spilled out. Calvin Harris collaborated with Kylie Minougue, Tiesto, Elie Goulding, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempahem, Cheryl Cole, Florence Welch, Roisin Murphy. Harris’s music was discovered by the social network MySpace, thanks to which he signed a contract with EMI and Sony BMG. He was recognized many times by one of the richest EDM creators. By releasing so many fantastic songs, he fully deserves to be called one of the best DJs in the world.
