Pserimos is a small (15 sq km) Greek island that is home to 130 people during the season. You can get to it by boat from the capital of the island of Kos. Is it worth spending your holiday time also on this trip? Convince yourself. The island is located in the Aegean Sea and belongs to the Dodecanese archipelago. It lies between Kalymnos and Kos. The main source of maintaining friendly inhabitants is a tourism in the summer season. Apart from this, the island lives in complete isolation. The ferry connection between the island and Kos is only possible in the summer. The biggest advantage of the island is the lack of commercialism and even the idyllic climate. A beautiful beach and restaurants located around make us forget about the loud and glamorous world. The peace and paradise climate prevailing on the island was destroyed in 2013 by heavy rainfall and storm, as a result of that, families living in the island lost their homes. Today, the island lives its life again. Already after entering the port, natives greet us, and on the beautiful beach will be waiting for us exceptional sponge sellers, and why exceptional? – check it out by yourself.
